Description

SM15-80L is a stepping motor with a diameter of 15mm. The screw pitch is M3P0.5mm, (Move 0.25mm in one step. If it needs to be smaller, subdivision drive can be used), and the effective stroke of the screw is 80mm. The motor has a white POM slider. As it is a mold production, it can save costs. It can also customize the slider made of brass according to customer needs. However, the slider needs CNC processing, so the cost is relatively high. Considering the cost and the structure allows, it is recommended that the plastic slider be preferred for production

The greatest advantage of the brass slider is that it is supported by two linear bearings, which provide strong support for the slider and ensure that the slider can move smoothly even under high load.

Therefore, the brass slider has better stability and higher price is fully justified.

For the screw rod stroke, considering your installation space, we can also customize the bracket with short stroke to save installation space

Motor’s design can be adjusted based on customer’s requirement including:
Motor’s diameter: we have 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20 mm diameter motor
Coil resistance/ rated voltage: coil resistance is adjustable, and with higher resistance, motor’s rated voltage is higher.
Bracket design/ lead screw length: if customer want the bracket to be longer/short, with special design such as mounting holes, it’s adjustable.
PCB + cables + connector: PCB’s design, cable length and connector pitch are all adjustable, they can be replaced into FPC if customers require.

Lead Time and Packaging Information

Lead time for samples:

Packaging:
Samples are packed in foam sponge with a paper box, shipped by express
Mass production, motors are packed in corrugated cartons with transparent film outside. (shipping by air)
If shipped by sea, product will be packed on pallets

5.What’s you MOQ? Can I order one motor?
We don’t have MOQ, and you can order only one piece sample.
But we recommend you to order a little bit more, just in case the motor is damaged during your testing, and you can have a back-up.

Yes, we do sell drivers. They are only suitable for temporary sample test, not suitable for mass production.
